At Maine Coons of Littleport, our mission is to breed healthy and happy Maine Coon cats, ensuring they go to the very best homes. Our cats and kittens are TICA registered and we adhere to the breeding best practice as set out by their guidelines, as the welfare and health of both parents and kittens is our first priority.

We want our kittens to go to the right homes, where they will be loved, adored and cherished, so please don't be surprised if we ask you lots of questions.

Can't wait?

​Our kittens are ready at 12 weeks old, once they have had their 2nd vaccination. We are happy for you to visit your baby in person or have video calls until its time for you to collect. A non-refundable deposit secures your kitten.

First time owning a Maine Coon...What do I need to know?

​

Ideally, Maine Coons should be indoor cats. If you are planning of having access to gardens, this should be cat proof (i.e. they can not escape) or have a catio. These are a large breed of cat and if you've never owned one before you may not realise quite how big they get! They grow slowly and can take around 4 years to reach their full size.  On average a male Maine Coon cat weighs 6-8kg, with females weighing between 3.5-5.5kg. The height of an adult Maine Coon can vary between 25-41cm and they can reach a length of up to 1 metre including their tail. They are  intelligent, fun, vocal and bouncy! They are curious, will completely invade your space, follow you everywhere and will want everything you have. They will need lots of stimulation, toys and games. So be prepared for them to change your lives....for the better!
